2025-05 Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan
A Viking Cruise starting from Hong Kong, stopping in Taiwan and mostly Japan. We loved Japan; such a great country; very little crime, very polite and the food is good. Flying back from Tokyo was a problem as BA bumped us off the flight. Never again if we can help it.

2025-04 Bluebells
Two visits this year to King's Wood, near Ashford to capture the amazing Bluebells. An RPS SE and an Ashford Photographic Society one. This year they were early due to a mild winter. Worth going just to see this amazing spectacle!!!

2025-03 Somerset
Late March 2025, and I went on the latest of many workshops with Dawn2Dusk, to Somerset. We stayed at Porlock Weir, which has an amazing 10.5m tidal range. From there we visited Porlock Marsh, which was a Farm until the sea broke through many years ago. Now, at high tides, there is a farmhouse and dead trees are surrounded by the sea! Other great places to photograph, with a lot of long exposures, we’re Watchet Harbour and Burnham Lighthouse

2024-12 Northumberland and Scotland
A week with Guy Edwardes, a professional photographer, in Northumberland. Starting with the arrival of Storm Darragh, it was an eventful and busy week with visits to most of the coastal regions, Newcastle and Leaderfoot. The last day, the weather didn't look so good so we we were up early and drove to the north of Edinburgh, to Stirling. We entered an amazing Hoar Frost area and were rewarded with some great images; thanks to Guy for the weather watching!
